Position Summary:
- The EDFS coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating the designated EDFS programs. The role involves providing technical leadership, managing program implementation, and ensuring all activities are aligned with global best practices and donor requirements. The EDFS position works closely with program teams, partners, and communities to promote agricultural and enterprise/ economic development for sustainable food systems.
Requirements:
- Master/Advanced degree in Agronomy, Vet Med, Agricultural Economics- a MUST
- Diploma in Project cycle management is desired- added advantage.
- Year of Experience 5+ in EDFS programming, 3+ years at coordination/people management level.
- Proven experience in humanitariona and early recovery contexts.
- Strong understanding of livelihoods programing stadards- including CVA.
- Experience with OCHA, ECHO, BHA, GAC and NORAD funded projects.
